UV Blocking - A UPF-50 rating that blocks 98% of the sun's harmful rays. It is not a chemical treatment - it's a mechanical property of the yarn so the protection won't diminish with washing. It's especially important for our pink skinned friends!
Reduce Heat Absorption - Our darker colored pals really benefit from the heat-reflective shade these tees provide. Goldpaw tested their black Lab, Luke, out in the sun with an infrared thermometer gun and found his fur was 40 degrees cooler under the tee than out!
Evaporative Cooling - Cool everybody down simply by wetting the tee. None of those gel packs or heavy ice packs. Just a comfortable, lightweight, easy-moving tee that won't get stinky (its antimicrobial).

Fit: This tee is incredibly stretchy. Many dogs fit better one size down from their regular size. If your dog is slightly small in girth measurement we recommend you size one size down. This tee is sized the same as the Goldpaw Fleece and is meant to fit snug. Although the fabric is different, it will stretch to fit like a glove.
To wear with a harness: This Sun Shield tee is made to fit closely to your pet. This tee is made to wear under your harness with no adjustment needed. No fussing with ill placed harness openings. Plus, wearing this under a harness has an added benefit of reducing or eliminating chaffing.
